We headed to Ainola Park today and when the wind dropped with the sun shining...it definitely felt like spring was finally in the air. And surrounded by green buds and other families enjoying the weather, it seemed a shame not to indulge a little treat in the sunshine. Fazerina ice cream. Bliss!

The girls had their last lesson of the year yesterday ahead of their ballet school's performance of Don Quixote in a fortnight. They had 'open doors' too so we got to see them in action. I love how much joy is on Rosie's face whatever she's doing and how focused Evie is.

Today was Virpomispäivä or Palm Sunday to the rest of the world. Here in Finland children decorate sticks with brightly coloured feathers and tissue paper and dress up like witches.
